We are delighted to announce that we are now officially recruiting to expand our Daisy Roots team.


Daisy Roots prides itself in being a small, family friendly childcare provider currently offering 36 places for wrap around care. We offer clubs during term time, Monday to Friday, before and after school and in the school holidays. The club is based at St Mary’s middle site (Strafford Rd).


What we are seeking from our team


  • We are looking for exceptional staff with a natural ability with children. It is important that you have a keen interest in working with children and possess a cheerful, fun and enthusiastic character.

  • You should be reliable, punctual, organised, cool under pressure and more than anything be able to relax and have fun with children whilst keeping them safe.

  • We value the quality of care offered to the children in our charge above all else. We are looking for the best!

  • In return we will treat you well and you will work with people that value and support you. Salaries offered are competitive and training is encouraged and supported.


Holiday Club Manager/Supervisor (full time)

Hours: 8:30AM-5:30PM 


We can offer you:

  • a supportive, energetic team

  • opportunities for development within our growing organisation

  • excellent rate of pay, up to £16p/h depending on a successful 3 month trial, your qualification & experience

  • training in Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene

As our club manager, you will be required to:

  • supervise the children and ensure their safety at all times

  • engage with them in aspects of play and conversation

  • plan a range of fun activities and set up resources for children to optionally take part in

  • meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club

  • manage a team of playworkers

  • plan and deliver a fun, varied holiday activity schedule

You must be enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and most importantly willing to have fun and enjoy working with children.

Hours: Varied term time/ holiday

Salary: around £9 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Successful applicants will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating after school care for the children attending Daisy Roots.

All posts are covered by the Childcare Act 2006 and are subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure for a regulated activity and reference checks.
